Fernando is a Colombian creative director based in Toronto with more than 16 years of experience in advertising as a graphic designer, art director, creative director and executive creative director at Leo Burnett Colombia for more than 5 years.

So far, he has worked on major brands in different markets in Latin America and North America such as IKEA, Procter & Gamble, Kraft Heinz, Virgin Mobile, DirecTV, Samsung, Chrysler, SAB Miller, AB InBev, Diageo, Coca-Cola, Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, KIA Motors and United Nations among others.

He’s a creative strategist who has done work recognized at almost every international advertising award show including Cannes Lions, The One Show, D&AD, Clio, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Webby awards, Strategy awards (Canada), Marketing awards (Canada), Effie awards, FIAP (Latam), El Sol, (Spain) Wave in Rio (Brazil), Ojo de Iberoamérica (Argentina), APAP (Perú), and El Dorado (Colombia). 

One of his most important achievements was leading the team who won the first Grand Prix in the history of Colombia at Cannes Health Lions in 2014.
